Digital products, memberships, and community-based offers often work best when customers can buy without a live sales conversation. Newie can handle checkout, receipts, downloads, Welcome Emails, subscriptions, and customer records while the actual content or community lives in another tool.

What the Digital Seller Needs

You want customers to buy quickly and receive the right access without manual chasing. The main decision is whether the customer is buying a file once, joining recurring access, or buying a self-serve program. Use Newie for checkout, payment, receipts, signed terms, downloads, and onboarding messages. Use the content platform, community tool, email system, or integration to control access after purchase.

Common Setup

  1. Create One-Off Services for eBooks, templates, guides, workbooks, resources, workshops, or paid-upfront programs
  2. Attach Digital Downloads when the customer should receive a file immediately after purchase
  3. Create Subscriptions for communities, memberships, access, newsletters, or ongoing content
  4. Use the Newie Store when customers should browse multiple offers
  5. Use Welcome Emails for portal links, community invites, app links, access instructions, or next steps
  6. Use integrations when customer details need to move into another system after purchase
  7. Use Terms of Service where customers should agree to usage, access, refund, or membership terms before checkout

Self-Serve Purchase Flow

1

Customer finds the offer

The customer opens a service link, Store link, QR code, email link, or social bio link.
2

Customer buys through Newie

The customer pays once, subscribes, or starts the plan.
3

Newie sends purchase records

Newie sends the purchase confirmation, receipt, signed agreement where enabled, and digital download link where enabled.
4

Customer receives access instructions

The Welcome Email can include portal access, community links, app links, login instructions, or onboarding steps.
5

Automation handles the next system

If needed, Zapier can send customer details to another app after purchase.

Terms to Make Clear

  • Whether the customer gets a download, access link, invite, or login
  • Whether membership access continues only while payments are active
  • Refund rules for digital files and paid access
  • Whether files, templates, or resources can be shared or resold
  • How the customer gets help if a download link, invite, or login does not work
  • Whether access is automated through an integration or handled manually by you
