Use Newie as the payment layer around the booking flow. Newie handles checkout, payment, receipts, billing, and customer records. The booking itself can stay in your normal calendar, booking process, or booking software. For single-session bookings, there are three common patterns:

Customer pays first, then books

The customer buys through Newie, then uses the booking link or instructions in the Welcome Email.

Customer books first, then pays

The customer books through your normal booking process, then pays through a Newie service link, QR code, custom link, Purchase as Customer flow, or Tap to Pay.

You book the customer in

You or a staff member agrees the time, books the customer, then collects payment through Newie.
For ongoing booked sessions, use Newie for the subscription or installment plan and keep the appointment schedule in the booking tool or calendar. The customer might subscribe first and then book, agree a regular time first and then subscribe, or book each session as needed while the subscription stays active. You can use price changes to adjust the price if bookings change during the period. For deposits, balances, or larger bookings, use the payment setup that matches the sale: One-Off Service for a single deposit or booking fee, Installment Plan for scheduled payments over a fixed total, or Subscription for ongoing booked services.
