Managing Account Settings
Open Settings to manage account details, profile details, referrals, payout settings, payment settings, and related tools. The Settings screen is organised into sections.Account
- Edit Profile: Opens Edit Details, where you can update your profile image, name, email, profession, biography, Instagram handle, and Store status
- Store status: The Publish to Web toggle controls whether your Store is published publicly where available. Search-engine visibility can also depend on indexing and discoverability outside Newie
- Refer Friends: Opens referral options and invites
Payments & Payouts
- Payout Account: Manage payout schedule, payout day, and payout time from Settings → Payout Account → Manage Payout Account. Use Log in to Stripe and Manage for payout bank account, identity, business, and Stripe account details
- Payout Reports: View and export payout reports
- Accepted Payment Methods: Manage supported customer payment methods where available for the account and region
- Overdue Assistant: Manage automated overdue-payment follow-up settings
- Tap to Pay on iPhone: Tap to Pay is enabled separately. After your profile is fully complete and Stripe is connected, Newie can prompt setup from the Home screen. If that prompt is dismissed, you can enable Tap to Pay later from Settings, or directly from the share service flow.
- Payment Method: Manage the payment method used to purchase services from other providers on Newie.
Other Account Actions
- Log out: Securely sign out of the Newie account
- Delete account: Permanently delete the account. All active subscriptions must be cancelled first. This action cannot be undone
Multi-User Access & Team Accounts
Newie currently operates as a single-user platform - each account supports one login only. What this means:- You cannot add team members, virtual assistants (VAs), or subcontractors with separate logins
- There is no role-based access or permission system
- Do not share login credentials. Shared access gives the other person full access to customer data, payments, payout settings, and account actions

How long does account approval take?
How long does account approval take?
Newie usually reviews accounts quickly, often within a few hours. Timing can vary if the profile is incomplete, Stripe needs more verification, or risk checks require extra review. While waiting, you can complete your profile, create services, and explore the app.
Can I use a referral code?
Can I use a referral code?
Yes. If you have a referral code, enter it during signup when prompted. Referral codes are separate from login access codes.
Can my provider account be rejected?

Yes. Newie reviews provider accounts before selling access is granted. Accounts may be rejected or restricted for policy, compliance, risk, or suspected fraud reasons.
How do I add or update my ABN or business tax details?
How do I add or update my ABN or business tax details?
ABN, tax, and business details are managed through Stripe where required. Go to Settings → Payout Account → Manage Payout Account → Log in to Stripe and Manage, then update the tax or business details in Stripe. The details should match the legal business name and documents exactly.

Go to Settings → Edit Profile or Edit Details. If the email address changes, Newie sends a verification link to the new address. If the email is already attached to another account, contact Newie support.

Provider push notifications are controlled by the device. On iPhone, go to iPhone Settings → Notifications → Newie. Critical emails, such as refund failure or account approval messages, are sent by Newie where relevant.

Yes. Contact Newie support through Newie support chat to request a personalised demo or onboarding session.

Use the Home screen Help button to open Newie support chat. The chat starts with an AI bot that gathers the details Newie support needs, and every ticket is reviewed by a human and answered by a human from the Newie team.

First cancel active subscriptions, process outstanding refunds, and export any data needed for records. Then go to Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
