In-Person and Assisted Checkout
Use these options when you are with the customer, speaking with them directly, or completing checkout on the customer’s behalf.Tap to Pay
Tap to Pay lets you accept contactless card and digital wallet payments in person using an iPhone - no card reader or additional hardware required. It works for one-off purchases, subscriptions, and installment plans. Tap to Pay must be enabled separately before it can be used. After your profile is fully complete and Stripe is connected, Newie can prompt setup from the Home screen. You can dismiss that prompt and enable Tap to Pay later from Settings, or enable it directly from the share service flow. After Tap to Pay is enabled, start Tap to Pay for a service by opening Newie → Sell → Services, tapping the... menu next to the service, then tapping Tap to Pay.
