What Is a Service?
Everything in Newie is built around the service. You create a service, share it with customers, and get paid. Unlike product-first platforms, Newie handles service needs like recurring billing, flexible pricing, installments, and terms. A Newie service is the commercial wrapper around the offer the customer buys. It can cover scheduled services, ad-hoc services, or one-off engagements, delivered by a person, system, resource, or mix. It can be sold online or in person, before, during, or after delivery. The service type controls the purchase and billing model. Booking, delivery, sales flow, and team ownership are separate workflow decisions. Many Newie providers use subscriptions for consistent service delivery because customers avoid a large one-off payment and providers build more predictable revenue.Service Setup Guides
