- A Typeform account

Setup at a Glance
- In Newie, go to Settings → Integrations → Zapier and copy your API token.
- In Zapier, create a new Zap and choose Newie as the trigger. Pick Subscription Started for subscription onboarding, or One-Off Purchase Complete for one-off purchases.
- Build the Typeform URL with URL parameters configured in Typeform, using available Newie trigger fields for values such as customer name and email.
- Connect Gmail (or your email tool) as the action and send the email containing the prefilled link.
- Test, then enable.
Notes
- Typeform’s Zapier app is mainly for response-triggered workflows. Sending people to a form is usually done by emailing a link.
- URL parameters can pass known data into Typeform and personalize the form, but they must be configured in Typeform first. Be careful with personal information in URLs, especially if analytics or tracking tools also read those URLs.
- URL-encode any customer fields that might contain spaces or special characters. Use Formatter by Zapier → Text → URL Encode.
- To act on responses, such as tagging a customer based on an answer, add a second Zap with Typeform as the trigger and your CRM as the action. Newie cannot be the action app.
