Why Connect Newie + Everfit
For hybrid coaches who use Everfit for program design, habit tracking, and client messaging. Newie handles recurring billing, payment retries, and lifecycle events; Zapier can send Newie billing signals to Everfit so client onboarding and program access can be updated where the required Everfit actions are available.Common Zaps
Subscription Started → Everfit: Invite New Client When billing starts and the subscription becomes active, invite the customer into Everfit. Map email, name, and program name. One-Off Purchase Complete → Everfit: Invite New Client For one-off challenge or intro pack purchases, invite the buyer into Everfit so they can be assigned the relevant program. Payment Overdue → Slack/Email notification Alert the coach to follow up before suspending program access. Subscription Ends → Slack/Email notification Tell the coach to archive the client in Everfit and start offboarding. What You’ll Need
- Newie account with Zapier connected (Settings → Integrations → Zapier)
- An Everfit account on a plan that allows Zapier integration
- An existing program or template in Everfit the new client will be assigned to
Setup at a Glance
- In Newie, go to Settings → Integrations → Zapier and copy your API token.
- In Zapier, create a new Zap and choose Newie as the trigger. Pick Subscription Started or One-Off Purchase Complete.
- Connect Everfit as the action app and sign in.
- Choose the action that matches the workflow, such as Invite New Client, Register Client by Public Invite Link, Assign Clients to Onboarding Flow, or Assign Client to Resource Collection.
- Map Newie email, name, and service into the Everfit fields. Some assignment actions require an Everfit client ID, so add an Everfit lookup step where needed.
- Test with a real purchase and confirm the client appears in Everfit.
Notes
- Before turning on the Zap, confirm which Everfit actions and required fields are available for that Everfit plan. Action names and required IDs can vary by Zapier app version and Everfit setup.
- Everfit’s Zapier action set is smaller than its core app. Some assignment workflows require an Everfit client ID and the relevant resource, onboarding flow, or program ID.
- For hybrid programs that mix subscription + one-off add-ons, run separate Zaps per Newie trigger so the right Everfit action fires for each purchase type. Use Subscription Started for subscription access once billing starts, not Subscription Created at the initial purchase. For installment plans, choose the subscription or payment trigger that matches the plan stage you care about.
